Machine Bed:
It is the box structure design made of cast iron with high static and dynamic rigidity that is achieved through optimum ribbing.

Work Head
High roundness accuracy of (0.002mm/ 0.001mm / 0.0005mm) could be achieved through the work head. With Simple adjustment both “between center’s and “live spindle” grinding could be performed on the universal swivelling work head MT-5 taper, poly V belt on the work spindle are idle for finest grinding for the heavy components. It consists of AC induction motor with inverter to achieve variable speed (programmable).

Wheel Head:
The wheel could be swiveled through +45 degree. It also has the angular wheel head feature that allows the grinding of both face and OD. To maintain the constant wheel Speed as the wheel diameter goes down, there is an option for continuous variable speed for the wheel.

In-Feed System :
The wheel slide moves on the hardened and ground pre-loaded roller guideways and it guarantees the repeat positioning accuracy of 2micron. It also provides the stick slip free movement. The in-feed slide is moved by a ball screw assembly, which is driven through a servo meter.

Tail Stock:
The Tail Stock is specially designed and has an upper casting moving on precision, hardened ground, pre-loaded roller guideways. There are options of providing fine taper setting of +40 microns and hydraulic actuation on the tail stock. It’s a clearance free system and hence provides high rigidity and longer life.

Spindles:
This achieves a very high dimensional stability and long life through special heat treatment. As the work head the wheel head spindles run on multipoint hydrodynamic bearings. It provides them exceptionally high running accuracy and rigidity. All spindles are of cartridge type design. High precision spindles are made up of special alloy steel.

Table Slide:
The Table slide contains work head and tail stock assembly on the top of it. It is moved by a ball screw assembly, which is driven through a servo meter.
